How we run our tours
Yatranova is a travel agency in Vadodara, Gujarat. We run group road packages, you book a seat, we handle the vehicle, the hotels and the route. This page explains what we actually run and what happens after you enquire, because that is what you are deciding on.
What we run
Four kinds of trip, all of them starting from Vadodara unless the package page says otherwise.
Multi-day package tours
Three to nine days on the road, covering Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal and Spiti, Goa and the temple towns of Madhya Pradesh. Road transport, hotels and most meals sit inside one price.
Pilgrimage circuits
Jyotirlinga darshan routes, Dwarka and Somnath, and the Ujjain, Omkareshwar and Maheshwar run, planned around darshan timings rather than around a sightseeing checklist.
Day trips near Vadodara
Out in the morning and home the same night, for people who have one free day rather than one free week. The shortest thing we run and the easiest way to travel with us once.
One international route
A Nepal circuit, run the same way as the domestic packages: a fixed route, accommodation and daily meals arranged in advance, and a group that travels together.
How a booking works today
Three steps, all of them involving a person. We do not sell seats through a checkout, and we say so rather than pretending otherwise.

You send an enquiry
Through the form or on WhatsApp, with the package name attached. Tell us your dates, how many of you there are and anything you are unsure about. No payment is asked for at this point, and nothing on this website takes money.

We call you back
Usually the same day, at the latest within 24 hours. We go through the dates you want, the group size, the pickup point and what the price covers. If you would rather have it in writing, we email the itinerary and the cost.

The departure is confirmed
Once the dates and numbers are agreed we confirm the vehicle and the hotels, and send you the reporting time, the pickup point and what to carry. Only then is anything booked in your name.
Who travels with your group
On most multi-day packages a tour manager or travel coordinator travels with the group. The inclusions list on the package page tells you whether that particular departure has one.
Their job is the part of a holiday nobody enjoys doing themselves: hotel check-ins, holding the day to its timings, keeping the driver to the agreed route, and being the person you call when something goes wrong several hundred kilometres from home. On smaller private-vehicle trips the driver may be the only Yatranova person with you, the package page will say so, and we will say so on the phone.
What the price covers
Every package page carries its own inclusions list, and that list is the promise. Where travel insurance, drinking water or a first aid kit is part of a package, it is written there. Where it is not written, do not assume it, ask us, and we will give you a straight answer before you pay anything.
Road conditions, weather and darshan queues are outside anyone’s control. What we can promise is that you will hear about a change from us rather than discover it at the hotel desk, and that the alternative will be arranged before you need it.

Most trips start at your doorstep
Nearly every package leaves from and returns to Vadodara. Where a trip starts somewhere else, Spiti begins in Chandigarh, its page says so before you enquire.
A tour manager travels with you
Someone from Yatranova is on the bus for the whole trip, handling check-ins, timings and the things that go wrong away from home.
AC transport and hotels included
Road transport, hotel stay and daily breakfast and dinner are part of the price on every package, not add-ons quoted later.
